Wicked Good Mom Media LLC publishes content written by local moms for local moms multiple times a week on BostonMoms.com, CapeCodMoms.com, and RhodeIslandMoms.com and all of it’s associated social media channels, reaching over half a million people each month collectively. They also produce dozens of free and ticketed events.
Challenges
Offloading the video production and editing for the ongoing "Mom's Eye View" series along with other video-related ventures was proving difficult for the WGM team. we support Boston Moms

All She Wrote Books
Helping a Displaced Business Get Back on Its Feet
Context
All She Wrote Books is the only queer woman-owned, feminist, intersectional bookstore in the greater Boston area. Starting as a pop-up in 2019, All She Wrote has blossomed into a treasured community resources, participating in many cause-related events and collaborations.
Challenges
What do you do when your rent goes up over 130% in two years and your business is being displaced? To top it off, you have $8,000 in repair bills, need to move in 30 days, and raise at least $60,000 to keep your doors open. Oh, and your 5 year anniversary is coming up. Phew!
Solutions
Within a few days of signing, we set up an organizational system and strategy to get this campaign going. Activating Christina’s personal and professional networks was a key component of our work, leading to features in places like the Boston Business Journal, MassLive, and Boston Globe.
In just five weeks, we helped raise over $60,000 for the only queer woman-owned bookstore in the greater Boston area.
Now they're celebrating 5 years in business with the continued help of IvyHill's full service brand communications, including the infamous 'Hey, Christina?' video series on social media, the new Friends of Ruby membership program, and additional press hits.
KDZ Designs
Improving Brand Direction for Big Results
Context
Karen Dzendolet is the founder of KDZ Designs, a Western Mass-based interior-design company that specializes in artistic and functional design solutions. With a background in IT, Karen breaks down projects systematically and collaborates with clients to create designs that reflect their needs.

When you're a solopreneur, it can be tough to know how to take your brand to new heights. Finding the time to deliver quality services to clients, manage your operations, and improve your brand presence is enough to make anyone's head spin. Karen was no different.

Supporting Local with the Power of Food
Context
East Somerville Main Streets is part of a nationwide movement working to build thriving local economies and centers of community. These districts develop local pride and identity.
Challenges
The annual ESMS Foodie Crawl is one of the most popular events in East Somerville, MA. The organization had limited capacity and needed help getting the word out to remain competitive while raising funds.
Solutions
IvyHill provided overall communications strategy for the event, secured press coverage, coordinated influencers, produced a brand story video for the organization, and a series of videos featuring local businesses done in three different languages to reflect the diversity of the area. The event saw a 40% increase in participation from the previous year.
Porter Square Books
Same Story, Different Chapter
Context
With deep roots in Porter Square Plaza in Cambridge, MA, Porter Square Books knew it would be a big deal if they went to a new location. In October 2024, they did just that by moving into Lesley University's University Hall location.
Challenges
Ensuring accurate information was shared with the public (especially loyal customers), promotional strategy development, and strategic partnership coordination were all front of mind for the PSB team.
Solutions
IvyHill oversaw the "Same Character, New Setting" campaign from start to finish, mapping out the messaging, promotional strategy, keeping the project on track and stakeholders informed. Media relations and community outreach were a big part of the work as well as providing support to PSB's team.
Within the first 48 hours of announcing, we received over 10 media hits and hundreds of online comments. We saw continued coverage through other activations as well, including the Human Book Chain.

Hippy Pilgrim Helpline
An Unconventional Resource for Your Kitchen
Context
After receiving an enthusiastic response to her homemade garlic salt in 2013, Suzy Sapir, a top 4 finalist on Next Food Network Star, took the leap and founded Hippy Pilgrim. With its award-winning line of raw garlic salts in over fifteen delicious flavors and gourmet seasonings, Hippy Pilgrim stands out with its fresh take on classic flavors. Now, Suzy is kicking things up a notch with a free Helpline for anything food or kitchen-related.
Challenges
Unconventional ideas require some creative thinking and planning. Having the right messaging for the Helpline, targeting the right audience, content strategy, organizing media contacts, media relations...all of these things were making Suzy's head spin.
Solutions
IvyHill took on the challenge of launching the Helpline within a few weeks of starting work together. Within one day of launching, the teaser video for the Helpline garnered over 20k views on TikTok (and climbing!), hundreds of positive comments, and local news coverage across the country. We are currently continuing to grow the presence of this resource through tailored social media strategy, video support, strategic partnerships, and more PR efforts.
POCPC
Healing Communities Across the Globe
Context
The People of Color Psychedelic Collective is a nonprofit with a mission to bring psychedelic education and healing to people of color. The organization creates spaces for people of color to learn about the harms of the war on drugs, the healing properties of psychedelics, and the future of care.
Challenges
As a member-led coalition and grassroots organization, capacity for creating content, promoting events, and building awareness were all a challenge. Additionally, shadow banning and limitations on social media were holding back the organization from its full potential.
Solutions
IvyHill worked with the POCPC leadership team to revise a previous edit of a brand story video, conducting an on-location interview with the founder, Ifetayo Harvey, and gathering relevant b-roll. We have also aided with their social media strategy, content creation (short form videos and graphics), as well as event promotion and PR.
Goals to Results
A Brand Story Video That Drives Results
Context
Goals to Results, founded by Dennis Riley, is a B2B business that helps implement systems, organize data, and create strong strategies to keep businesses and organizations on track.
Challenges
Trying to communicate the power of systems, the business ethos of Goals to Results, their expertise, and offerings was proving tricky for Dennis and his team. They also did not have experience with creating video, but did have a desire to try different tactics.
Solutions
IvyHill worked with Dennis on refining Goals to Results' messaging and came up with the foundation of a brand story video. We laid out an efficient schedule for getting the footage (and photos!) we needed. Within the span of a few hours, our team set up, recorded an interview, gathered relevant B-Roll footage, and took branded photos.
Goals to Results now has a key element that succinctly explains their work to prospects and referral partners. Dennis and his team have also grown their content creation skills along the way with our guidance.
Beloved Earth Company
Improving the Ecosystem for Stronger Branding
Context
Founded by Terra and David Missildine in 2005, Beloved Earth Company has been a key advocate for ethical work practices, sustainability, health, and creating a better planet. As the first green cleaning company in Western Massachusetts, they've taken bold stances in the realms of residential and commercial cleaning services.
Challenges
After 19 years of adapting to changing circumstances, it was time to level up and get consistent. Trying to find the time and energy to do this sort of work felt unfeasible with a lot of starting and stopping.
Solutions
IvyHill collaborated for a total overhaul of Beloved Earth's internal communications, brand identity, messaging, and improving content strategy. We also provided education to staff about how they can create their own content, bridging the gap between their company's mission and the daily work it does.
Their founder is now able to clearly articulate her vision for the company internally to staff and externally to the public. We also helped her get featured on a local television show.
Erik Ireland
Mindfully Building Success Through Community
Context
Erik Ireland is a certified mindfulness coach and the host of the Listen to Sleep podcast. He has over 500k followers on social media, incredible insights, and a passion for helping people.
Challenges
Erik needed support refining the messaging and marketing strategy for his online community and mindfulness education platform.
He also wanted to build his audience in new ways, on and offline.
Solutions
With the help of IvyHill, what started as the Awaken Your Myth Peace and Prosperity Circle has become The Cabin, a name and concept that better reflects what resonates with his audiences.
Within one week, Erik saw higher conversions to his online community and mindfulness education platform.

As the only Latina-owned brewery in all of Massachusetts, Hot Plate Brewing is quickly becoming a hub for communities in the Berkshires and beyond. What started as a business idea inspired by a loss of heat during the pandemic has evolved into a successful 7-barrel brewhouse and taproom that opened in Downtown Pittsfield in 2023.
Challenges
Although the team has a strong marketing background, navigating the world of PR, staying on track with social media, and tailoring event activations that aligned with their mission was time consuming.

OM&P
When Activism Meets Self Care
Context
OM&P is an activism-forward, eco-luxury company that champions preservation of self & preservation of the environment. With a keen eye on giving back and using high quality, tested ingredients, this body care company is taking sustainability to new heights.
Challenges
Having a succinct video that can be used for pitch competitions, investors, wholesale prospects, and others was key to the growth of the brand. Having the time and resources to put towards that was proving to be difficult.
Solutions
We collaborated with founder, Dr. Candace Parrish, to do a full-day, on-location shoot in West Chester, PA in recognition of their studio grand opening and also creating a brand story video. We captured interviews with the OM&P team and supporters, snagged quality b-roll, and brand photos. We also provided a video strategy guideline to aid with distribution methods.
Mike & Patty's
Mike & Patty’s Mainvest Campaign
Context
Mike & Patty's is a go-to spot in the Boston area for delicious breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and more. Starting out in the Back Village neighborhood, they've since expanded their footprint to places like High Street Place, Jamaica Plain and Somerville.
Challenges
Trying to raise capital for a new location in Jamaica Plain and having competing deadlines was a delicate balancing act. Finding a way to encourage investments and telling their story needed to be prioritized.
Solutions
With a time-bound Mainvest campaign, we knew a longer-form video would be crucial for sharing Mike & Patty's vision while driving investments. We started off by learning more about the overall campaign goals, determining what footage was needed, and planning out a shoot day with owners, Mike and Ania.
In a matter of weeks, Mike & Patty’s had raised over $150,000 to build out their Jamaica Plain location thanks in part to this video.
